eircom Outage
eircom is currently experiencing a technical fault which is impacting a large number of customers in the South East of the country. The fault has been isolated to our parent exchange in Waterford. As a result of the fault up to 22,000 customers in Wicklow, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexfordand Offaly are experiencing a disruption to broadband services.
Local repair teams are on site and the issue has been escalated with the vendor of the exchange equipment.
We are unable to give an exact time for full restoration of service but we do expect service to be restored later this evening.
We would like to reassure all affected customers that we are working with our repair teams and vendor to repair this fault and restore full service as quickly as possible.
